Branko Lepen: CIRCLE
18 September - 28 September 2008
The intriguing intermediate space between the PM Gallery and the Bačva Gallery was articulated by sculptor Branko Lepen with an installation of polished aluminium 11 m in diameter. Floating in limbo, the installation entitled Circle is still today one of the most spectacular realisations of that reiterated and permanent need according to which artists explore, respond to or provoke the givens of the Meštrović Pavilion with their site-specific approaches.
