City of Skopje and Public cultural institution Cultural informative center (\u2018The Organisers\u2019) are announcing an Open call for Artist in residence of younger generation that will take place in Skopje in Cultural informative center from May\u00a0<\/strong>20<\/strong>\u00a0to June\u00a0<\/strong>20<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Artist in Residence program is within of framework\u00a0CreArt. Network of Cities for Artistic Creation,\u00a0<\/strong>and it is consist of residence of 2 artists od younger generation: one artist from the cities within\u00a0CreArt. Network\u00a0of Cities for artistic creation city partner\u00a0<\/strong>and one artist form Skopje, to be selected through this Open Call.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0CreArt Artist in residence in Skopje\u00a0<\/strong>will take place at public cultural institution within of framework of City of Skopje\u00a0Cultural Informative Center,<\/strong>\u00a0located in the city center in Skopje from\u00a0\u00a0May,\u00a0<\/strong>20<\/strong>th<\/strong>\u00a0 202<\/strong>6<\/strong>\u00a0 to June\u00a0<\/strong>20<\/strong>th<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Open call will be open until\u00a0<\/strong>16th\u00a0of March.<\/strong><\/p>\n

WHO CAN APPLY?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

One Artists of younger generation should be born or resident \u2013 in any of the cities taking part in \u2018CreArt 3.0. Network of Cities for Artistic Creation: Aveiro [Portugal], Ceske Budejovice [Czech Republic], Kaunas [Lithuania], Liepaja [Latvia], Lublin [Poland], Oulu [Finland], Regensburg [Germany],Rouen and Clermont-Ferrand [France], Valladolid [Spain], Venice [Italy], members of Croatian Association of Fine Artists [HDLU] and Ukrainian artists thanks to cooperation with teh Lviv Art Council \u2018Dialog\u2019.<\/p>\n

One artist should be born or resident\u00a0 in Skopje \u2013 North Macedonia<\/p>\n

It is preferable to have a degree in a field of art (university level).<\/p>\n

Artists coming from the CreArt network, except artist from Skopje must have a valid travel (health) insurance policy, European health card or equivalent.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

CONDITIONS AND GRANT<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The organization will cover travel expenses and accommodation, for the artist coming from Creart Netwok, subsistence cost up to 400 euros and will be covered materials for production of a work maximum of 500 euro.<\/p>\n

For the artist coming from Skopje The organization will cover local travel expenses and will be covered materials for production of a work maximum of 500 euros,<\/p>\n

Each artist will receive 375 \u20ac as presentation fee for the exhibition.<\/p>\n

The selected artist can use the space and equipment facility of Public cultural institution Cultural informative center.<\/p>\n

At the end of the residence a exhibition of two artist with the art work made during the residence will be organize in\u00a0 Cultural informative center.<\/p>\n

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The applicants must provide within a one document PDF:<\/p>\n

ID or passport (scanned copy);<\/p>\n

A short version of your CV and a full; portfolio with art works.<\/p>\n

A short written project proposal (one side of A4).<\/p>\n

Graphic documentation related to the project proposal<\/p>\n

Deadline: Monday, March 1<\/strong>6<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>th, 202<\/strong>6<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Only applications with complete information will be accepted. The artist will be selected by the local curators.<\/p>\n

All participants will be informed until\u00a0March<\/strong>\u00a031 th.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The shortlist will be published in the CreArt website.<\/p>\n
