On Tuesday, 26 May at 6 PM<\/strong>, the exhibition CreArtivci<\/em>, featuring works by elementary and high school students, will open at Karas Gallery<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. The exhibition is the result of an educational programme developed within the framework of the European project CreArt 3.0.<\/a><\/p>\n

The CreArt Educational Program<\/strong>\u00a0is part of the European project CreArt 3.0<\/strong> and aims to improve collaboration between local schools, cultural institutions, non-governmental organisations, independent professionals, and companies in the cultural and creative sector. The programme builds and strengthens intergenerational connections, creates a network for the exchange of cultural education, and encourages the future participation of schoolchildren in the cultural life of the city. Over the course of three years, the programme has involved 76 schools in partner cities of the project, more than 4,500 students and teachers, and 47 artists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Croatian Association of Fine Artists (HDLU) connected its latest educational programme with the exhibition 8th Biennial of Painting, organised by HDLU at Klovi\u0107evi dvori Gallery from 28 April to 21 June 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This edition included 6 schools (Jabukovac Elementary School, Miroslav Krle\u017ea Elementary School, Ivan Gunduli\u0107 Elementary School, Fifth Gymnasium, Seventh Gymnasium, and Tenth Gymnasium),<\/strong> involving more than 120 students and 6 teachers and educators. The programme consisted of guided exhibition tours accompanied by educational booklets<\/strong> with assignments for children aged 6\u201311<\/a> and 12\u201316<\/a>, as well as workshops held in schools under the mentorship of the following artists: Ivana Fischer, Slaven Kosanovi\u0107, Mia Marakovi\u0107, Luisa Pascu, Tara Stani\u0107, and \u0160imun Toli\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>\n

CreArt<\/strong> is a network of 13 medium-sized European cities aimed at exchanging experiences and good practices in fostering contemporary art through an ongoing transnational mobility programme for emerging artists, curators, and cultural professionals, to maximise the economic, social, and cultural contributions that creativity can bring to local communities (#stringing_together<\/strong>). At the same time, CreArt 3.0<\/strong> pushes boundaries (#pushboundaries<\/strong>) beyond the visual arts by strengthening other artistic practices such as performing arts and music. A new collaboration has also been initiated with a non-governmental organisation based in Lviv to support Ukrainian artists. Participating cities include: Kaunas, Liep\u0101ja, Skopje, Aveiro, Valladolid, Lublin, Venice, Clermont-Ferrand, Rouen, \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice, Oulu, and Regensburg. The project includes 45 residency programmes<\/strong> in 15 European cities, more than 39 public events<\/strong> celebrating the European Month of Creativity across 13 network cities, 13 educational programmes<\/strong> to strengthen creativity and knowledge of contemporary art, 18 street art festivals<\/strong>, 10 annual gallery festivals<\/strong> in 9 cities, and 6 European conferences and study visits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
