Sound installation named On silence, deals with relations between the experience of the very concept of silence. Silence could, in everyday speech, be defined as the absence of sounds audio range (19 to 25,000 Hz), but more often we see it as the sound space that is atypical for expected situation. The lack of sound spectrum is defined with volume strength of -60dB. Sounds that are played on the speakers are amplification of field recording of specific locations that originaly do not exceed mentioned 60dB, for example the space of the theatre stage at night, weekends in space space of the Parliament, recordings of vital functions of dead animals (digital stethoscope), recordings of water in the sink (hydrophone), sound of the ground or meadow recorded with sensors that capture the sound structure up to two meters deep, etc. All the mentioned sounds with their amplification and lack of common purpose redefine metaideju space of silence. The work consists of twelve small speakers (20W), mounted on plinths and six mp3 player that play the sound of silence. Visual and auditory clean installation evokes the tranquility in the observer.

The project intensifies the sound art as a contemporary gallery practice, a reviewes the experiences and ideas of silence as well as its application in the creation of static sound forms (installations) that due to the format of the gallery (specifically debt refund beep in the gallery Barrel) creates unique spatial composition.
