Results of the European Project Healing Nature Presented at the Children’s Hospital Zagreb

The results of the European project Healing Nature – Animation for Health and Well-being in Children Hospital Environments were presented at the Children’s Hospital Zagreb. Through art, animation, and augmented reality (AR), the project contributes to creating a more welcoming, engaging, and child-friendly hospital environment.

As part of the project, murals inspired by nature, play, and children’s imagination were created throughout the hospital. Young patients played a special role in the process, as their drawings became part of the artworks and animated characters. Using augmented reality technology, visitors can scan QR codes to discover hidden animals and interactive content, transforming hospital spaces into a unique and immersive experience.

The project was presented by its authors and partners from Croatia, Portugal, and Bulgaria, who highlighted the importance of art in improving the well-being of children, their families, and healthcare professionals.
