We are pleased to invite you to the opening of the photographic exhibition Fascination in black and white on Thursday, February 19 at 19h at the premises of the Croatian Association of Artists, HDLU Club.
The exhibition Fascination in black and white was premiered within Grid2010 4e, Internationale Foto Biennale Amsterdam in 2010, where it was highly rated by professionals, as well as the general public, as the best national selection. The exhibition presents four authors: Ante Brkan, Milan Pavić, Nikola Vučemilović and Stanko Abadžić.
This is the first exhibition organized by the gallery Croatian House of Photography which is devoted only to the medium of photography. The Gallery will represent mainly Croatian and foreign old masters of photographic art of the 19th and 20th century who paved the way for wide acceptance of photography as an independent and relevant media. Croatian House of Photography will be open to young artists as well as to the established artists, using experimental, traditional and digital photography. The aim of the program is to create balance and dialogue with a wide range of photographic genres and techniques.
Croatian House of Photography will operate in the exhibition space of the HDLU Club. It was launched with the aim of continuous improvement and expansion of exhibition activities of the Croatian Association of Artists. Croatian House Photography was officially opened on April 7, 2014 by renown Peter Lindbergh as part of his exhibition.
