COMPETITION FOR MONUMENT OF SLOVENIAN INDEPENDENCE

The subject of the competition is the design of a monument to the Slovenian independence on the main Square of Republic in Ljubljana. The new monument should be an adequate representation of the period of crystallization of the idea of ​​Slovenian statehood, which was a result of a long tradition of national and emancipatory struggles. The monument should unite the country, the people and their achievements, and should express openness, mutual respect and trust. The monument should be an expression of history as well as a vision for the future.

2nd prize 12,000 EUR
3rd prize 9,000 EUR
three awards of 4,500 EUR each
twenty-four compensations of 1,200 EUR each
